Miami Moving, Sorted Out Fast

Quick, plain answers to what Miami and Miami-Dade homeowners ask most — price, timing through the summer storms, packing, and the longer hauls. Anything still unclear? Ping the number shown at the top of the page and you’ll usually hear from us that day.

Typical Price Ranges

Move type Ballpark cost
A truck with two movers $155 an hour, first hour included
A truck with three movers $219 an hour
Studio or one-bedroom, flat rate $490–$780
Two-bedroom home, flat rate $880–$1,380
Three-bedroom home, flat rate $1,480–$2,320
Four-plus bedrooms, flat rate $2,420–$3,840

Useful Details for Your Quote

  • The origin and destination addresses, plus the floor number at each end
  • Any oversized or weighty pieces such as a safe, a piano, or large furniture
  • A gate code, a booked elevator, or any COI your building requires
  • Your target date and how much it can shift

Rain or a summer storm needn’t push your date — runners go down over the floors, each item is shrink-wrapped, and the ramps are padded, so a wet-season move comes off just as smoothly as one on a dry winter day.

01 Common questions
Is the crew that shows up actually on your payroll?
Every one of them. ABC Miami Moving and Storage is owner-run and fully licensed, bonded, and insured — a Florida FDACS registration covers in-state work and US DOT and MC authority the interstate side — and every truck and uniformed mover belongs to us.
What does a typical Miami move run?
Two movers with a truck run $155 hourly and a three-mover crew $219, both starting from a one-hour minimum — and you'll have that figure well ahead of the move itself.
How do you arrive at one flat price?
Room by room, we weigh the floor area against how difficult each spot is to reach, then settle on one number. Once the crew clocks in, that number doesn't move.
What's the step to reserve my move date?
A $100 deposit locks the day in, and it comes straight back off your final bill. The quote itself costs nothing.
Are you properly licensed and insured?
We are. In-state moves run under our Florida FDACS household-goods registration, and out-of-state jobs travel on US DOT and MC authority — and the only hands on your belongings are our own payroll movers.
Can you move during summer storms and Miami heat?
Year-round. We lay floor runners, wrap each piece, and roll out padded ramps, so a rainy-season move comes off just as cleanly as one under a dry winter sky.
Which parts of Miami-Dade do your trucks cover?
Miami, Miami-Dade County, and the surrounding suburbs — South Beach and Little Havana out to Coral Gables, Hialeah, Doral, Kendall, and up to Aventura.
On a long-distance move, does my load share the truck with anyone?
Never. Your belongings ride solo on a truck of ours with no other household's goods sharing the trailer, and whichever crew loads you up in Miami is the same crew unloading you at the destination.
Will your crew take on a piano or a loaded gun safe?
Routinely. Jean Pierre, one of our crew chiefs, handles gun safes, pianos, and framed artwork — padding each, strapping it down, and wheeling it out on a dolly rated to hold that weight.
Could my move ever get handed to an outside company?
No. As a Miami mover running our own trucks and W-2 crew, we never hand any part of a job to an outside company — it's handled in-house from the first carton to the last.
02 Why us

One team, from your door to the truck

Book us and the whole job sits under one roof — the truck at your curb, the movers hauling your sofa, and the name printed on your contract are all the same company. A broker just auctions your move off to whatever carrier bids lowest, then walks away the second the paperwork clears.

ABC Miami Moving and Storage
  • Our own trucks, parked in our own yard, run by full-time movers we screened and hired
  • A flat figure written down before we start, and that is the number you settle
  • The same crew that carries your things out is the one that brings them back in
  • Bonded and insured on our own US DOT and MC authority, backed by Florida FDACS registration
  • One neighborhood office and one point of contact, from the first call to the last box off the truck
A typical broker
  • Auctions your move to the lowest bidder and keeps the spread for itself
  • A number that quietly climbs, then lands higher the day the truck shows up
  • Subcontracted strangers you never spoke with handling everything you own
  • A shrug when you ask who is actually liable if a piece gets broken
  • A far-off call center standing in for a real neighborhood moving crew
